Team Sri Vidyanikethan has always focused on imbibing knowledge from not the classrooms alone. Hence, we conducted the Army Green drive, where the college adopted Rangampet village in Tirupati. The college conducted a drive under the Clean and Green project on the 18th of August, 2012, where they donated 70 writing desks at the Zilla Parishad high school in Rangampet. The college students also participated in a village development drive, and provided the villagers with dustbins, and brought awareness about cleanliness amongst the villagers. College students turned as teachers, and taught the students at the ZP school and the village, and brought awareness about basic cleanliness, environment and the measures to safe guard the environment. The students and Team Sri Vidyanikethan planted trees and brought awareness about the importance of trees to the villagers and the school students, who have now made it a regular practice to plant trees and rear them.
